Rasasiddhi is a dedicated initiative founded by Soumitra Thakur and Kaavita Das, striving to preserve and promote the essence of Indian classical chamber music through intimate, soulful concerts. Led by Soumitra Thakur, the organization is a tribute to the profound musical legacy of Prashant Thakur, Soumitra’s uncle and first guru, whose teachings laid the foundation of his musical journey. It also honors the memory of Pandit Nikhil Banerjee, one of the legendary trinity of sitar maestros in India, whose artistry continues to inspire generations.
